PhotoSweep Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your use of PhotoSweep, a Pawsitive Games browser extension. By installing or using PhotoSweep, you agree to these terms.

What PhotoSweep does

PhotoSweep helps you review duplicate and similar photo candidates in supported online photo libraries. It is designed to process matching locally in your browser, present results for review, and move eligible items you select to a provider's available Trash or Recently Deleted flow where supported.

Provider limitations and your responsibility

• PhotoSweep is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or produced by Google, Apple, Amazon, or their photo services.
• Available scan and cleanup actions depend on provider flow, region, account state, loaded library area, media type, and changes to a provider's website.
• PhotoSweep presents candidates for review. It does not guarantee that every candidate is a duplicate, that every duplicate will be found, or that a provider will complete a requested action.
• You are responsible for reviewing results, choosing what to keep, confirming cleanup actions, and using your provider's restore options when available.
• Use PhotoSweep only with accounts and libraries you are authorized to access, and comply with the terms of the applicable photo provider.

Licenses and purchases

PhotoSweep offers a free tier and may offer paid one-time licenses, such as Mini Cleanup, Cleanup Pass, and Lifetime Early Access. Current availability, feature limits, and prices are shown in the extension or at checkout.

• Mini Cleanup is a permanent limited unlock.
• Cleanup Pass is a seven-day paid cleanup window and does not renew automatically.
• Lifetime Early Access is a one-time unlock for the supported lifetime of the product, subject to the current feature scope and provider availability.
• Pawsitive Games, not Google, is the seller of PhotoSweep licenses. Stripe processes payments under its own terms and privacy policy.

Refunds

You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase by emailing pawsitivegames@gmail.com with your purchase email, approximate purchase date, plan, and a short description of the issue.

We generally approve a request when PhotoSweep cannot scan Google Photos on a supported browser or device; paid access was not delivered and license recovery did not resolve it; a Cleanup Pass expired or failed before you could review duplicate results; an accidental duplicate purchase was made for the same user; or required safety behavior failed, such as report generation after Trash.

We may decline a request when it is outside the 7-day window and no product failure is shown; when a paid cleanup was completed and the only reason is that fewer duplicates were found than expected; or when a request appears fraudulent, abusive, or is tied to a payment dispute already handled by Stripe. This does not limit a request based on a demonstrated product failure.

An approved full refund or chargeback dispute may deactivate paid access tied to the refunded or disputed purchase. A partial refund does not necessarily deactivate all paid access.

Acceptable use

Use PhotoSweep for lawful personal or authorized organizational photo cleanup. Do not attempt to bypass licensing, interfere with the extension or payment service, access other people’s accounts or libraries without authorization, or use PhotoSweep in a way that violates provider terms or applicable law.

Ownership

PhotoSweep, its software, branding, and related materials are owned by Pawsitive Games or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the extension as provided.

No warranty and limitation of liability

PhotoSweep is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawsitive Games does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, provider compatibility, the accuracy or completeness of duplicate candidates, storage recovery, or the preservation of any photo. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pawsitive Games is not liable for losses arising from your use of PhotoSweep or a provider's service.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms when the product, payment flow, or applicable requirements change. Continued use after an updated effective date means you accept the revised terms. Questions about these terms, purchases, or refunds can be sent to pawsitivegames@gmail.com.
